A grand view of Barcelona beckons

The sunlight glistens on the deep blue water of the roof-top swimming pool as I stare out across the city of Barcelona.
Taking a sip of champagne I inhale a deep breath of the warm Mediterranean air and lie back on my lounger. The clear blue sky is only punctuated by the jet streams of the aerial display put on daily by the Spanish Air Force for the tourists.
As the muffled honks and horns of the traffic far below gently rise up I take another sip of my drink. I briefly wonder what the time is. Do you know what… it’s not important.
Another half hour of the 27C sunshine won’t hurt. Welcome to a city break in one of Europe’s coolest and most vibrant cities, Grand Hotel Central-style.
